Jodies Boyfriend

Very nearly finished. I still need final approval from Jodie, who commissioned this sculpt - for her boyfriends Christmas present. I need to add some beer cans to the base and touch up the eyes, but pretty much a done deal.

Bob's Ringers

Two Dead Ringer,s which are heading over to Martin Whitmore,  who does the most incredible job of painting the Dead Ringer sculpts.
Right - back to the coal face, lots of other projects need to be finished over the next week or so.

The many colours of clay.

Jodie's Zombie commission continues to take shape. His hands and base are pretty much all that's left to make. I know the variety of clays confuse the look of this sculpt. I use various of clays for their respective properties and repetitive baking darkens the parts I made previously.
Once the next bake is complete I can undercoat and start painting. I  will be making the hands and accessories from a two part putty (procreate), which does not require baking - so next time I post pics of this guy, he will have a bit of colour.

Playing Catch Up

With a new oven installed, I can now get on with the full figure sculpts I've been commissioned to make. This is the first of four. A Zombie boyfriend, the boots and trousers are finished and I'm working the torso. I will be adding some rips and physical damage to the torso, then move onto the head, one arm will be reaching forward and the other hanging by his side. I'm really glad to be getting on with this sculpt - long live the new oven.
